Implementing Collumns for dividend data

Mark: I believe I can get the info I want by using two collumns:

Dividend distributions per share (between) Div dist /s (btw)

and

Dividend yield (between) Div yld (btw)

....however, Do I only have to label two collumn with: Div dist /s (btw)
and: Div yld (btw) to get the info I seek???

...also, does something have to replace the btw in (btw)???
Do () on the (btw) and (beginning) remain in the final form???


Do I have to enter a report name somewhere using the "Dividend distributions per share (between)" and does the (between) have to be replaced by something else.
What I'm looking to capture is calendar year results - 01/01/YYYY to 12/31/YYYY. Would the "btw" and "between" have to be changed at the start of each calendar year??

Hi Chuck,

I may be missing the main point of your questions... You can just simply add these fields to a Custom report. Select "Reports / Custom..." and then in the Report Settings dialog, press "Custom Settings..." and all the available fields are listed on the left. Select the field you want, and then press "Add ->" to move it over into the "Included in Report" list. Repeat, and add as many custom fields as you want to your Custom report. Back in the main Report Settings dialog you can enter any date range you want for this report.

Hi again: Good thing the weather today is wonderful!!! Now to FM!! I bring up the daily review of FM using Portfolio Editor. I right click the headings area and look for Div dist /s but it is not available. Same for Div yld. I go through the list of collumn headings that can be checked and I cannot find things for "Annual dividend yield ($) for the current calendar year", "Dividend for the latest distribution", nor "Annual dividend yield (%) for the current calendar year". These are things I have been trying to follow. Thanks for the continued help. Wish I could make the desired data easier to find. Best regards, Chuck

Hi Chuck,

The fields you're describing are for the Custom report, they aren't available in the Portfolio Editor. The Portfolio Editor only has a small subset of the fields you can get in reports. To get those fields, follow the instructions I gave in my last post.

Select "Reports / Custom..." and then in the Report Settings dialog, press "Custom Settings..." and all the available fields are listed on the left. Select the field you want, and then press "Add ->" to move it over into the "Included in Report" list. Repeat, and add as many custom fields as you want to your Custom report. Back in the main Report Settings dialog you can enter any date range you want for this report.
