It seems clear that you cannot make too much provision for notes and memos. In the meantime, I'll mark up a printout.

I found myself wishing that could include a little memo or footnote in the Report Settings dialog. I can already foresee not remembering precisely why I set something up the way I did. So I came here to make that suggestion. Dutifully, I searched for similar conversations, and I see you have a whole lot of suggestions. And I learned a great deal from the needs and wishes of others.
It seems clear that you cannot make too much provision for notes and memos. In the meantime, I'll mark up a printout. ![]() Anyway, my 2¢.

Okay, understood. Thanks for the feedback. You can't record notes in the Report Settings, but one thing that may help is to "memorize" a report with a name that makes sense to you.
I have memorized many and never especially wanted to add a sentence--until this one report this month.So a footnote or a sub-head (smaller font than the heading) would be ideal. But even a longer heading would be welcome. As it is, we only have space for 50 characters.

Okay, thanks for the feedback. In the Advisor version you can customize the text in the report headers by report type (the text below the title). However, this isn't report specific, it is report type specific, so all "Custom" reports for example would have the same headers. You can insert fields that change with the specific report, but there isn't a field for a report specific note. Seems like a good option to add...
