Hi Alan,

When recording bonds, the shares should be 1/100th of the face value, and the price is near 100. Is this how you've recorded them? For tips on recording bonds, see:

If this doesn't resolve it, please send me the details of what you recorded for a bond, and what YTM you're receiving, so I can try to reproduce it here.
Thanks,
Mark

Muddle came about by using Yahoo asx to update price It gives the yield as the price so teh YTM is wrong Now doing price update manually How do I get the prog to recalculate the correct YTM as it stays at the wrong figure Should I re enter the datA?

ps have you ever imported portfolios from stock market eye as I am using that software for equities at the moment Going to use yours for bonds

Hi Alan,

Check that you don't have any incorrectly recorded prices anymore. See "Edit / All Data..." to open the Data Register, and select "Prices" for the Data Type. Edit/delete any incorrect prices. Bond prices should be around 100, as the face value is assuming a price of 100. Also, check your "Income" properties to make sure you have the right coupon rate and payment frequency under "Investment Properties... / Income". For tips on recording bonds, see:

Sorry, I don't have any experience with Stock Market Eye. Do you know if they can export to any sort of standard format, like OFX, QIF, or as a last resort, CSV? You can import any of these formats into Fund Manager.
Thanks,
Mark
