I am testing FM9 beta. It would be nice to include a way to view the portfolio in more than one currency.
e.g. how much is the portfolio worth in dollars, in pouds, etc...?

Thanks for the feedback. If you _really_ wanted to do this now, you could do this:
1) Do not assign the default currency to any of your investments, only use one of the other 24. 2) Change your 'exchange rate' investments or assignments under "Options / Currency Settings..." to exchange to the currency you want to view. I realize the above is quite a bit of work... This is an idea when can possibly address in the future.
Mark:
With respect, that would be a rather tedious workaround. The point is to see it on a regular daily basis in different views. If you could build it into this version, it would be helpful. Possibly, you could build in a "major currency" view? usd, chf, gbp, eur?
As I am thinking about this, what about simply using a dropdown under the exchange tab and providing say 4 views that could be customized? view A, View B, View C, etc...
Each exchange rate view could be setup and customized by the user. This should be doable without too much work, I would think.
Hi manageruser,
I do agree the workaround is not too practical to get this view now. Thanks for the ideas. Unfortunately, this is not going to make it into 9.0, as it is not a minor change... We can consider it for a future release.
