Graphs vs Portfolio order

Questions on using, creating, or understanding data in Fund Manager graphs.

Mark:

If I have the portfolio listing of a set of stocks arranged in decending order of values by clicking on the "Value" heading of that column, why does it not follow that the graphs resulting from then clicking "GRAPHS" and "COST - VALUE" would not be presented in the same descending order rather than a perhaps intermixed order of values? I wonder this each time the order of the graphs does not follow the order of how they are listed in the portfolio. Clicking "Investments" then "Sort By" and "Value" will get an agreement of order between the two.

Maybe inconsequential. Curiousity reigns.

Best regards, Chuck

Hi Chuck,

I can see why you'd expect it to work that way, but it doesn't... The list view in the Portfolio Editor is sorted by whatever column you click on, and is displaying the sort arrow. The investments in a graph window are displayed in the "investment stack" order. You can rearrange/sort the investment stack order, but it is independent from the list order in the Portfolio Editor.
Thanks,
Mark
