Hi Mark,

After I installed the latest version I still get the same crash report as before. The crash is when I run a custom report that has 6 settings and all the settings relate to %Gain 3m, 6m, 12m, 36m, 60m and 120m.

If I run the same custom report on a much smaller portfolio all works well without crashing. It seems it does not like to run on a big portfolio with lots of investments.

Hi fundman247,

Can you email us the crash (*.dmp) file you received with 13.4? These dmp files are version specific.

I have replied on ur e-mail.

I tried to reduce the investments by closing about 130 of the 498 investments but found it still crashes.

I then added the 130 investments back and removed 170 from another sub portfolio and found it then does not crash.

Thanks for all your help. We were able to find/fix this issue. It will be fixed in the next release (13.5). If you would like a pre-release of 13.5 with this fix, you can send us an email.

Thanks for pointing to a corrupt .dat file. What I found strange the problematic file with the one date a price of zero could not be edited in FM then it crashed. At another instance I recorder a new price for the same date and the data stack showed the zero price as well as the newly added price for a date in 1998.

Lastly I found the corruption so bad that FM cannot open the file and crashes the moment one tries to open it.

After removing this file the report is working 100%.

As this is a isolated problem on a bad .dat file you don't need to inform me when the beta version is available.
