Since there is no support to directly download transactions from the trading houses where I trade, every time I am manually entering the transaction. Hence I request to eliminate more typing, can you please provide an option, where I can provide my trading houses brokerage percentage and other charges percentage, which can be used in the buy/sell dialog box automatically and fill the relevant columns. This will save some time especially when I have to enter lots of trading transaction.

Hi SHAREVJ,

Are you asking about auto-filling the commission fee in the Buy/Sell dialog? Yes, we could provide some default options here. How exactly would you like to have this calculated? In many cases this commission fee is a fixed value for stock trades. We could maybe have different options, where it is either a fixed value, or a percentage of the value of the trade. Is this how your commission fee is calculated?
Thanks,
Mark

Hello Mark,

Yes, I am requesting for the auto filling of commission fee in buy/sell dialog. In my trading house, it is a % of the traded value till a limit, after that it is fixed. For example, my trading house charges 0.5% of the trade value or $30 whichever is the minimum. Hence if I do a trade transaction which results in $1000 then I will be charged $5 whereas if the transaction results in $10000 i will be charged only $30 instead of $50 as per percentage. Will this be possible, even a % of traded value should be fine as a starting point.
