Questions about updating prices or transactions in Fund Manager

Postby Ivan » Thu Jan 15, 2015 5:45 pm

Hi Mark,

Google shows historical data for the DBIQ Optimum Yield Crude Oil Index on the following Web page:

http://www.google.com/finance/historica ... GIS:DBOLIX

Is it possible to download this data into Fund Manager as if it were an investment?

Thanks,
Ivan

Hi Ivan,

Yes, just use the "Google (Historical Mutuals)" quote server, and use the symbol:

INDEXNYSEGIS:DBOLIX
Thanks,
Mark

Hi Mark,

I try to download historical prices for INDEXDJX:DJUSEN on Google.

https://www.google.com/finance?q=INDEXD ... qlwQOhxoEw

With "Google Historical" selected in Historical Price Server, I obtain : "Could not update any investment".
With "Google Historical mututal fund" selected, I can download only about 8 months of price.

Could you help ?

Thanks.

Hi Djobydjoba,

Use the "Google (Historical Mutuals)" server, and retrieve multiple times. Change the end date each time. You can only get 200 prices per retrieve from this server, and the 200 are back from the requested end date. For details, see:
