Portfolio Value/Accrued Interest

Questions on using, creating, or understanding data in Fund Manager reports.

Hi Mark,
I've been asleep at the switch. I always assumed that accrued interest was included in the value of bonds on the Portfolio Values report. Got involved in a complex account reconciliation project and just noticed that it wasn't -- if there is a way to turn this on for this report I can't find it. If not, I urge you to add it. I know the Bond Summary report shows the value of the accrued interest and I know it's included in the Performance Report with a check box to turn it on or off -- it should be the same in the Portfolio Values report. That report should show the value of each item in the report and the correct value of the bond is the market value (price X quantity) plus the accrued interest.

Hi elliots,

Okay, thanks for the feedback. There is no option in the Portfolio Value report to include accrued interest. You can create this with a Custom report though. Use the "Value + accrued interest (ending)" field.
Thanks,
Mark
