First Column Symbols on Data Register

General questions about using Fund Manager that do not fit into any other forum.

Postby wadebarg » Thu Apr 30, 2015 10:45 am

I have looked in Help and on the Forum for the key or description for the colored symbols in the first column of the data register. Some are understandable, but not all. Where can I find the key to the symbol?

Hi wadebarg,

This isn't something in the documentation. This would be a good thing to add...

If you are looking at transactions, the icons indicate the transaction type. The green up arrow is for a buy or transfer in. The red down arrow is for a sell or transfer out. The blue u-turn looking arrow is for a reinvested distribution. A red sideways arrow is for a distributed distribution.

In the Prices data type, the icon indicates the change in price from the prior data point. Yellow equal sign is it stayed the same, green plus sign is the price went up, and a red minus sign is the price went down.
Thanks,
Mark
