License key

General questions about using Fund Manager that do not fit into any other forum.

I had to reload my OS on my computer. I re-downloaded Fund Manager and was using it. I then remembered I need to re-enter my License Key. I went to Help, but there is no option for entering the license key. Doh! What am I doing wrong?

Hi Homer,

If you've already entered a valid license, there will be no "Help / Enter License Key..." command anymore. You can double check your license status under "Help / About...".
Thanks,
Mark

Thanks Mark. That makes sense. I was not understanding the portfolio editor completely and was thinking some functionality was restricted. Thanks for straightening me out. Fund Manager said "unlicensed" until I recovered by register settings from backup (a VERY nice feature). I just failed to notice. And yes, Help was trying to tell me that I am licensed. Thanks for your reply on a Saturday.

Hope you had a good holiday.

:)
