Incidental Question Provoked by Yahoo Mess

Hi!

I tried to switch to another quote server, but it was a problem because of the symbols of my preferreds. I would have just wanted to ignore them, but as far as I can tell, FM won't let me: whenever it unsuccessfully tries to download prices, it produces a popup and refuses to continue until I manually close down the popup.

Is there any way to shut down the popup system, so that it will ignore the few errors and continue to work?

I am running an evaluation copy of FM Personal 2018.

Hi David,

Yes. See "Options / Internet Settings... / Advanced Options..." and set "Warning Level on Retrieve Failure" to "No Warnings".

Hi danmcco,

Sorry, that option isn't available in FM 2016, it is new to FM 2018. There is now an updated quote module that should alleviate the need to turn off these warnings.
