Distributions date field "For Shares Owned On:"

I have been reviewing the import and reporting of Distribution transactions. The date field for shares owned on which is recorded when entering distributions would be useful for tax purposes when reviewing distributions based on when they were earned, rather then when they were deposited / paid to the account.

1) is there a field available for reporting purposes which will display the date "For Shares Owned On:"?

2) currently I do not see a field for this date when importing transactions. Is this something which can be added to the generic import function?

Hi Allan,

1) Sorry, no, it isn't available in a report. This field is not utilized much by FM. It is only for determining the dist/share amount for plotting things like NAV + Dist.

2) You're right, it isn't an option for importing today. It is something we can consider adding in the future.
