Viewing graphs & portfolio editor

Happy New Year Mark:

I'm running 9.4/403/130 on Vista Premium. It used to be that when I called up a sub-portfolio it only filled about half of the moitor screen and then when I called up Graphs/Cost-Value four graphs would use about half of the monitor screen and would partially overlay the sub-portfolio presentation. A mouse click on either would move that one to the top for viewing but both would remain on the screen one overlaying the other.

Now the sub-portfolio fills the screen and calling for Graphs/Cost-Value fills the screen with four graphs and loses the sub-portfolio presentation and I have to go to View/Portfolio Editor to get the sub-portrfolio back which loses the graphs. Then, if I click to Graphs/Cost-Value the Graphs/Cost-Value presentation comes back but the sub-portfolio presentation is lost.........ad infinitum.

What have I done to lose the previous presentation of both sub-portfolio and graphs overlayed on the same screen where each used a portion of the screen and I could choose which would be in the foreground???

Can I get back the previous presentation of both sub-portfolio and graphs overlayed in the same screen????

Hello Chuck,

Each of the windows (Report, Graphs, Portfolio Editor) will be in 1 of 3 states:

Minimized
Restored
Maximized

What you are describing is that you used to have all your windows in the "restored" state, but currently they are in the "maximized" state. To put a window back in the restored state, click on the middle of the 3 buttons in the upper/right corner of that window. The left button is to minimize, the middle is to restore, and the right is to maximize. You can also use any of the window arranging commands, like "Window / Cascade" to restore all the windows and arrange them.
