Manual Reconciliation

General questions about using Fund Manager that do not fit into any other forum.

Postby Gally » Fri Mar 13, 2009 12:23 pm

I have a portfolio that has 6 funds. One with zero shares. The display for the funds is correct in the portfolio editor view. When I select reconcile manual only one fund displays. The properties of the portfolio display 6 funds but only one shows in the reconcile view.

Any ideas what the problem might be I can manually reconcile other protfolios.

Thanks

Hi Gally,

In the "Reconciliation Wizard" it lists only the investments that have a non-zero share balance as of the selected "Statement Date". Notice, there is an option "Hide Investments With Zero Shares". By default this is on, so only investments that own shares on the Statement Date are displayed. You can turn off this option, and then you will see all the investments in this sub-portfolio. You can also change the Statement Date. If the Portfolio Editor is displaying the share balance you expect, then try changing the Statement Date to today, as the Portfolio Editor displays share balances for the current date.
Thanks,
Mark
