Hi Mark,
Added fields to graph legend, some of the ([[GRAPHVALPERCCHANGE]]) % fields as showing as na, wanted to see the reason so tried looking at the menu option for Graph logs, however the file is empty, is there a flag or option need to be turned on to see the Graph legend calculation

Thanks

Hi divinest,

There is no option for this. What graph type are you looking at?
Thanks,
Mark

If i select earlier transaction date the field GRAPHVALPERCCHANGE should as n/a, however if move one day past the earliest transaction date the % is populated.

Hi divinest,

This field is the % change from beginning through end of the plotted graph, inclusive of the end dates. The equation is:

(end_value - beg_value)/beg_value

The denominator is the beginning value, which is the beginning value on the first plotted date, which is determined by the close of the prior day. When plotting since your first transaction, this beginning value will be 0, thus the denominator will be 0, and you'll get an N/A for this graph legend field.

For these graph types the graph calculation log is not always created. It is only created when calculating the yields above the graph. If the yields do not need to be re-calculated or they are off, then the log file won't be generated. The yields do not need to be recalculated when just changing from one portfolio based graph to another with the same active sub-portfolio and same date range settings. You can force it to re-calculate and generate a log file by changing the dates and making sure the yields are turned on.
Thanks,
Mark
