Can't access Morningstar

Mark,

I can't seem to access anything on Morningstar FR for the past two days.

Has something changed? Up until 29 August everything was working.

As an example:
Lazard Norden (3D) / F0GBR04JY3

I'm using:
2018.15.5.100
QM: 542
TM:237

Hi Richard,

I tested this, and had intermittent success. It failed quite often, and sometimes succeeded. The site seems extremely slow when accessing it with a web browser as well. In this case we will just need to wait and see if the performance of the site improves. There isn't anything we can do from our end at this point.

Hello,

Yesterday Morningstar.fr has changed / updated their website.

The page layout for funds as changed. An example of the new layout : http://www.morningstar.fr/fr/fund/snaps ... F00000QHNI

But it seems all the funds are not migrated to the new layout yet. Some funds are still displayed with the old layout ((for example : http://www.morningstar.fr/fr/funds/snap ... F0GBR04F8Y)

So it seems it's a work in progress from their side. And currently it's indeed very slow to load pages.

Thanks for the help. Yes, we'll have to wait until the transition is complete, and then see what updates may be necessary.

The change to the website is quite radical, and downloading prices has slowed to a crawl, I wonder if this is a technique to monetise the automated price download process.

For your information, I'm having similar problems with price retrieval from the Morningstar UK - Unit Trusts site. I'm patiently waiting and keeping my fingers crossed on this one too....

If you have FM 2018, Financial Times is a perfect substitute from my point of view. In fact the data provider of FT is... Morningstar.
