Can I create a report that merges two portfolios
I have an equity and bond portfolio but would like to combine the totals in one report

Hi Alan,

Yes, if you have them configured in the sub-portfolio hierarchy, where you can include both of them. For example:

- Master Portfolio
  - Equity Portfolio
  - Bond Portfolio

If you report at the Master Portfolio level in this example, it will include both the Bond and Equity portfolios.

Thanks but I can I just choose two out of say 4 portfolios ?

Hi Alan,

No, you'd have to configure some portfolio hierarchy with only the 2 you want. You can also make use of link subs, so you can have a completely separate hierarchy with links to subs that you want to organize in different ways. By using link subs you're just organizing in alternate ways, without duplicating any data. For help on using link sub-portfolios see our Sub-Portfolio Tutorial.
