uninstall and keep investments

Can I uninstall my Fund Manager and be able to keep all of the individual investments. I would like to uninstall the program, then reinstall it and start fresh. After that I would like to retrieve my old investments and split them up into 2 separate sub-portfolios.

Yes. Uninstalling the program doesn't affect your data. Just make sure you know where your portfolio file (*.mm4) is located, so that you can re-open it after you re-install, as it won't re-open automatically after you uninstall.

I would ask though, why bother uninstalling? You can make any changes you want, without uninstalling. If you want to move your investments into 2 separate sub-portfolios, you can do that now. Just use the Portfolio Editor window and you can move/arrange things however you want. Check out the Portfolio Editor Tutorial and maybe also the Sub-Portfolio Tutorial.
