Gold & Silver quotes

Which server can I use to get gold & silver quotes since FM can no longer use Bloomberg for these quotes?

I just searched on FondsCheck, and they have gold under the "symbol":

32119

and silver under the symbol:

38823

I too have been getting spot gold prices from Bloomberg, but I'm using FM 2014.13.8. Is there another quote service I can get spot precious metal prices from? Since there doesn't seem to be one, please reconsider your decision and support FM 2014 users by adding the Quandl and/or FondsCheck quote service?

Hi Bobo,

I just looked on Yahoo, and you can retrieve the current price for an ounce of Gold in USD using the symbol GC=F. Make sure you are using the plain "Yahoo" quote server. Their symbol for the price of Silver is SI=F.

You can also get the code for platinum and palladium.

I could not find any reference for precious metals including gold on http://www.forexcheck.de/
