Crypto fractions

Is there a setting - or plans - to allow 8 decimal places in fractional shares.

I'm a new user, evaluating transferring years worth of Quicken portfolio data to FM so far everything is working great. Plus; I'm liking the vibe of this community. Crypto fractions are not a show stopper for me.

Hi astropuppy,

Currently the maximum displays of share precision is 6 digits. You can set this under Options / General Preferences/ Display. Internally FM records the maximum precision available in a double float. This means that usually it stores much more than 6, depending on the size of the number. We may consider making the option available to show more than 6 in the future.

Thanks for your quick response. Headed to the purchase page.

My plan is to run FM in parallel with Quicken for the rest of the year. This will make 2021 taxes easier. Then ditch Quicken in 2022, in recent years all I've used Quicken for is portfolio management. Moved banking to GNUcash about 5 years ago.
