Openting FM Investments Slow

Recently when opening up Advisor FM the process has slowed down significantly while loading the investment. It appears that there may a duplicate Loading Investment Screen Running in the background. The same happens when doing an Auto backup up.

Hi ricbertsch,

Do you maybe have multiple Report windows open that are doing some calculations? If you close all report windows (Window / Close All Reports), save your portfolio (File / Save Portfolio), and then exit/re-start, does it open faster?

Sorry I should have explained that I did eliminate those reports. What happen is that I originally had another Portfolio that I was working with that had the Reports Open however I noticed that I had lost my Client List. So I closed that out with the reports open. Then used a backup that had the client list and have been working with that since. Earlier today I thought that it was the the Old Portfolio with the Reports Still opened and so I opened that back up and deleted those reports. I then went back into the Portfolio that I had switched to (with client list) However, I am still having a very slow process of opening and backing up the investments. Hopefully this make sense.

Once it opens, if you go to "File / File Operations / Set Data Location..." what does it show for your "Current Location"?

Within your suggestion I found that the Data was in muliple locations. So it automatically merged all the data and TADA all is fine.
