Generic Import importing duplicate transactions

Questions about updating prices or transactions in Fund Manager

Mark,

Importing a csv file (which has many previously imported transactions) with the "Skip transactions already in FM investment" box checked. Brings up list of transactions without errors EXCEPT It brings up the full list of everything in the CSV file (including transactions already in FM) with all boxes checked to be imported. Any thoughts?

Hi elliots,

Something must not be the same... Take a look at the "Transaction Details..." of one of these transactions in the Preview Importing Transactions dialog, and compare it to the details of the associated transaction. If the date, or any of the amounts are different, it won't be considered a match. If you can't find the issue, please email me or post a screenshot of both the incoming and existing transaction.

Mark,

That's it; transactions not identical. Downloaded from Vanguard on two separate occasions and used spreadsheet to convert to csv files and there appears to be minor rounding errors making the transactions not perfectly identical.
