Not able to import generic transactions

General questions about using Fund Manager that do not fit into any other forum.

I'm attempting to import some generic transactions into my portfolio. File looks like:

Code: Select all
ED,SYMB,TRAN,ANUM,BNUM,CNUM
20211231,VWALX,TXIN,0,211.243,20060901:10.8399805
20211231,VWALX,TXIN,0,347.798,20061002:10.87999356

But, when I import, first it tells me "Please specify entire path and filename" and then takes me to the "preview" screen which is empty with 0 transactions.

Is there something I might be doing wrong?

This is using the latest version, 2022.17.0.100 on Windows 11

Hi spock,

It sounds like the problem is with the "File to Import" input parameter. Make sure to use the "Browse..." button there and browse to the file you want to import.
Thanks,
Mark

Thanks Mark, I had chosen Browse, but it seems the problem was related to selecting a file on
a network folder. If I make sure the file is on the C: drive, it seems to work ok
