Edward Jones TRN glitch

As of 1/1/2023, after five years, I have an problem! The data comes in 'summed' for each investment instead of separate for DIV, STCG,and LTCG.

EJA's tech suggested "unlink\relink". Before I do, what is you idea?

Hi Phil,

I would suggest retrieving this account for a date range that covers these transactions, and then look at "Help / Logs / Transaction Retrieve (Parsed)..." to see if these transactions are separated out by type, or combined into 1 transaction? You can cancel the retrieve, and then go look at the log file.

Thanks for the 'road map'. The logs have 15 different *.txt files. Where do I start? What do I look for?

Hi Phil,

If you just retrieve one account, and then select:

"Help / Logs / Transaction Retrieve (Parsed)..."

that should open up the "xmldump.txt" log file. There is only 1, and it contains the parsed log of the most recent transaction retrieve. It is in a more human readable format that the "raw" version.
