How do I put 4 graphs in a window?

Questions on using, creating, or understanding data in Fund Manager graphs.

Apologies for this stupid question but for the life of me I can't figure this out. I know the button that chooses between 1, 4 or 9 graphs in a window and I have seen the screen shot in the help window that shows this done. I just can't add the 2nd and 3rd etc graph after I bring up the first. How do you do this? Thanks in advance.

Hi k_kirk,

You can only get multiple graphs in a single window when you are on one of the 'investment' based graphs, like share price. Portfolio based graphs always display only a single chart. All of the graph types in the "Graphs" menu under the first divider are investment based graphs. Please select one of these, and then you'll automatically see the number of graphs you have selected (1, 4, or 9).
Thanks,
Mark

Hi Mark,

First off, thanks for your amazing support! It took only ouple minutes to get your reply! AMAZING!!! Thank you very much for your strong commitment to your product and user community.

I now understand. Managed to make it work. I think this could be a good opportunity for a improvement in future. Be able to open multiple graph windows which you can put any graph on and then tile onto one window...

Regards,
KK

Hi k_kirk,

Thanks for the compliment on the support, and for the feedback.

I believe you know this already, but just wanted to point out that you can create multiple (separate) graph windows. Each window can have a different graphs/settings.
Thanks,
Mark

You are most welcome. Yes. i know how to make multiple graph windows and potentially if I open 4 and close portfolio editor and use the Tile command I can achieve something close to what I'm imagining. The probelm with that approach is the screen estate wasted in 4 x frames etc. Also I would like to be able to keep the full screen portfolio editor in window and all 4 graphs in another window so I can flip back & forth. Hope that helps visualizing. Thanks once again.

Hi, have just downloaded evaluation version and new to all this, but looks very impressive so far. Apologies if this has been covered before, but I searched forums and coudn't see anything. My question is whether it is possible to display 4 pie charts in the same window?

Hi Paul70,

You can only have 1 pie chart in a graph window. as the pie charts are plotted for the specified sub-portfolio. You can however create multiple graph windows, so you can have 4 graph windows, each showing a pie chart for a different sub-portfolio. To create a new graph window select "Graphs / New Window". Each graph window has separate settings, including the active sub-portfolio, which choose from the top level "Portfolio" menu.
Thanks,
Mark
