"I know you can edit the entries in The Investment Goal, Asset Types and Sector but is there any way to edit the names of these fields. For example Investment Goal to Recommendation and Asset Type to Industry. Now that Morning Star does not provide the Asset Type I have defaulted to the Motley Fool. They list the the Sector but not Asset Type but instead the Industry which is also what is listed in some other services. If not would it be possible to put these fields on the General Properties Tab and allow us to edit the list there or in the options. IF not that, how about a new whole Tab for them in the Investment Properties.

To expand on the above question How about just an option Field1, Option Field 2, Option Field 3 and Option Field 4 on the general Tab or a new Tab called "Optional" and list the fields there. Also allow these fields to be used in the Legend Text. It doesn't need to be 4 but that would be a good number to allow for optional information.

Hi Jim,

Sorry, no, you can't change the Category Group names (Asset Type, Investment Goal, Sector), but as you mentioned, you can change all the labels within each group.

Would using the "Custom Investment Properties" meet your needs here? There are 10, and you can make them either a date, number, or text, and customize the label. See "Options / Custom Investment Properties...". However, these aren't available for the graph's legend text, but that would be good to add.

No the custom Properties don't work. You can not use them in Legend Text.

What about adding an Industry Type selection to the General tab lake the Type selection under the account number or another tab for Industry Tab by it's self

Yes, that is definitely possible, although much more development effort than just adding the existing Custom Investment properties into the legend text options.

IT would be nice because when I look up information on a customer most time s they list the sector, and the industry type. That is why I asked if we could change the names on the investment properties tabs.
