Consolidate same investment in reporting

Hi there - I have an investment that appears in a number of different portfolios. Is there a way to consolidate this investment in reporting (so it appears as one line item, and not as several line items)?

Hi Tudor,

It depends on the report type, but in most reports you can list by "Symbol" instead of "Investment", and all investments of the same symbol will be consolidated onto a single line.

Mark - I have a custom report. I can list by "Investment" or "<None (totals only)>". Can I somehow list by distinct symbol in a custom report?

Hi TudorP,

Yes, but it depends on what you have for "Subtotal By:". If you turn off subtotals, or subtotal by sub-portfolio, then you can list by more things, including "Symbol".
