Share price not showing on Distribution entry

Hey, Mark. Just updated to FM2024, and when I enter a new Distribution, the share price for that day is no longer showing.

In FM2022, it would. For example - closing price of BERIX is $12.06 on 10/17/23. I go to enter a distribution for that day. In FM2022, the "Price" field would auto-populate with "12.06". Then, I could enter the distribution $ value, and FM would calculate the # of shares.

Any ideas why this isn't working any longer?

This feature is still available, but it is now an option, which we defaulted to OFF, which may have been a mistake... You can turn it back on at:

Options / General Preferences... / Other / Transaction Dialogs Initialize Price

Got it..thanks. I had looked around thinking it might be an option, but wasn't able to find it. Just turned it back on using the preference setting you mentioned, and all is good.
