WSJ [LBTY] / Reuters [LBTY.NR]

Hello,

I am trying to retrieve the prices from either of the two servers for the indicated symbol. I changing the symbol each time depending on the server but none of them retrieves any price.

where is the issue ?

Hi SteveK,

Are you trying to retrieve Liberty Kenya Holdings PLC from the Nairobi Stock Exchange? If so, on WSJ you would need to record the symbol as:

KE/XNAI/LBTY

And record the investment type as "Stock". Please see the instructions for retrieving from the WSJ here.

Hi Steven,

None of those are currently supported quote servers. We used to support WSJ and Reuters, but those aren't options anymore. We do have support for Financial Times, but only for the funds. Adding a new server for the equities access on FT is something we can try and do. I can't say for sure, or when, but we will investigate.

To help with the loss of WSJ and Reuters we've added support for a new quote server:

Financial Times - Equities

which will allow you to retrieve the quote in question using the symbol LBTY:NAI and this new server. You can download the update from within FM 2024 using "Help / Fund Manager on the Web / Check for Updates..." to get quote module 596 or later.
