NetExchange client - General Error when Retrieve Trans&P

Questions about updating prices or transactions in Fund Manager

Hello Im testing Fund Manager Advisor software. I just installed the version 10.3 with Quote Module 410 and Transaction Module 136.
One of the reason because Im interested in this soft is because Fund Manager Software web page say that this software can retrieve transactions and positions from NetExchange client. I think that Fund Manager have a problem with NetExchange because have this error when try to retrieve:

"General Error - The Personal Finance Software you are using for download is not supported by your broker. Please contact your broker for more information"

How can I solve this?

Hi Peter,

I see the same error when retrieving with a test (invalid) username/password. Fund Manager works the same as MS Money when retrieving from these OFX servers. I tested this server using both Fund Manager and MS Money, and received the same response in both programs. You might contact your broker, and ask them if you are set up for using MS Money, and if not, what they need to do to enable it. If they need any specifics from us, like how we are connecting to their OFX server, please let me know.

Sorry Mark. I think you, or someone in Fund Manager should contact NetExchange Client because NetExchange Client works with a lot of brokers (principally with Pershing). So Im not a direct client of NetExchange Client (Im a Bulltick client) and in Bulltick no one know about that, also I dont know nothing about software and connections between them.
May be the retrieve doesnt work because NetExchange Client Web page changed the login system about 6 months ago...

Hi Peter,

Okay, we'll try to contact NetExchange. We don't have any special contact information, so I'm not sure how far we'll get, but I'll try. We may end up having to just de-feature that OFX server.
