Merger/Spin off transaction report

How can I get a transaction history report of a stock merger or spin off? For example Merck recently purchased Schering Plough for stock and cash. Would like a record of original purchase lots (accout/dates and cost) of Schering and the new converted amounts of Merck. We track by specific lot, so tracking date and cost is important.

You can just do an "Investment Transactions" report. That displays all your transactions, as they happened.
