Morgan Stanley Smith Barney transaction downloads

Questions about updating prices or transactions in Fund Manager

I seem to be having problems with tranaction downloads. Some of my accounts, not all, and not the same ones each time have an error about login and being unable to establish the string?

I do have access through their website for all accounts.
The log on is the same for all accounts.

Do you have any ideas?

Hi steve at SFI,

The transaction download uses the broker's "OFX" server, which is a different server than their "Web" server. They may use the same login info, but they are different servers, so it may be that their OFX server is just too busy, making it more difficult to get logged on. What is the exact error message you get? If you re-try, does it sometimes then go through?
