The Maximum Number of Transactions Are Currently Open

I am trying to import from a Quicken Qif. It is a large file with several years of data and I get the following error message when trying to import:

"The Maximum Number of Transactions Are Currently Open"

It did import some of the file, but obviously not all. I tried to import a second time selecting to not import transactions already in Fund Manager, but still get the same message.

Are you sure the error said maximum number of "Transactions"? There is no limit to the number of transactions, but there is a limit to the number of "Investments". An investment is defined as a security with some symbol. Investments can have an unlimited number of transactions. The limit to the number of investments is based on the version of Fund Manager you are using. The Personal version is limited to 500, Professional is 2,000 and Advisor is 50,000.
