Cash Reporting

General questions about using Fund Manager that do not fit into any other forum.

Postby Gally » Sun Sep 19, 2010 10:39 am

I would like to use Fund Manager to give me a view of all my currency holdings in my various accounts.

For some accounts, e.g. Dollar & Euro a valuation GBP will need to be determined by the exchange rate preferably with an automatic update of the exchange rate required, in my case the foreign rate conversion to GBP

Can You suggest the best way of using Fund Manager to do this so that I can include these cash accounts in an overall report.

I do not use cash accounts within my investment portfolios

Many thanks

Hi Gally,

Is your question about how to set up the exchange rates? If so, go under "Options / Currency Settings...". You can also watch this tutorial:

If you're asking about how to only report on cash, you can do it a couple of ways... You could set up a sub-portfolio to hold just your cash accounts. Alternatively, you can create a report, and filter by investment type, so you only include "Cash" type of investments.
Thanks,
Mark
