Problems when updating quotes from internet with FM 8.8/9

I am running Fund Manager on Windows Vista (italian) and I update quotes from Yahoo!Italy (it.finance.yahoo.com).
Until Fund Manager 8.7, no problem with the updates from internet.
But when installing FM 8.8 or FM 8.9, when updating from Yahoo I get the following error:
WinInet error code 12029
Message: Impossibile stabilire una connessione con il server
(my translation: Impossible to establish a connection to the server)
and no quote is retrieved from Yahoo.
So I am back to FM 8.7, and the Yahoo update works again.
Can you help me?

Hi Enrico,

This sounds like your firewall is blocking FM's access to the internet. When the executable (fm.exe) gets updated you may need to re-tell your firewall program that it is okay for Fund Manager to access the internet.

great support: I've discovered that a native and out-of-date installation on my Vista PC of Norton Internet Security was blocking Fund Manager and other programs.
I've uninstalled NIS using the Norton_Removal_Tool and the problem has now been solved.
