Can't reconcile with version 11.2

Questions about updating prices or transactions in Fund Manager

Postby Mark » Sat Jun 11, 2011 9:51 am

Hi Gerry,

I'm not sure, it sounds like the response from Fidelity isn't as expected by FM. If the problem persists still could you email me your log files (ofxretr.txt, ofxpost.txt, and xmldump.txt) after a failed retrieve? I'll take a look. For help on finding the log files, see the bottom of this page:

Also, are you retrieving from Fidelity NetBenefits, or Fidelity Investments? I just tested an account with Fidelity NetBenefits, and it was working properly.
Thanks,
Mark

Hi Gerry,

When Fund Manager is asking Fidelity for a list of accounts associated with your username, their server is returning an error code 2000, with a message of "Account List Error". I've not seen this before, and am not sure of the cause. Could you call Fidelity, and make sure that there are no problems with accessing your accounts through their OFX server? I've tested this server with my accounts, and it is working okay here, so it may be something specific with your account, I'm not sure... If calling Fidelity doesn't fix it, and it is still not working on Monday, please call the office, and we can do some further debug. Do you happen to have Quicken? If so, does this account retrieve in Quicken okay?
Thanks,
Mark

Mark,
The Fidelity rep says the site has had some difficulties coming back up from repairs, which they expect to resolve by tonight. (Don't know why your acct. isn't affected; you're just living right I guess.) Sorry to bother you with a Fidelity problem. Next time I'll check with them first.
Thanks for your awesome support,
Gerry
