TDAmeritrade Transaction Retrieve

Questions about updating prices or transactions in Fund Manager

Got transaction download working several weeks age, now I get "Invalid Logon" and no download.

Ameritrade people say it is their new additional layer of security that randomly prompts me for answers to four possible questions and the Fund Mgr download process is not showing those to me.

I wonder, it originally took me several calls to TDA to find anyone who knew about transaction download. That was before their new security.

Help.

Hi marlowen,

The new security questions for TD Ameritrade are only for logging into their "web" server, they have nothing to do with the "OFX" server, which is used for retrieving transactions. I've just tested retrieving from TD Ameritrade, and it is working okay from here (I do have an account with them, so have tested it completely). I would suggest double checking your user id and password. Either they are wrong, or your account is not enabled for transaction retrieve. Since you've retrieved before, I would think that it should still be enabled okay. If it still doesn't work, please call TD Ameritrade, and ask them for help getting set up to retrieve transactions in MS Money. Fund Manager works just like MS Money when it comes to retrieving transactions, so they should be able to make sure your account is activated for this feature, and help you with your user id/password.
