Just getting my hands wet. What is most important to me is to have a table and a graph of ending daily value of all portfolios listed by date:
date 1 date 2 date 3
ending value ending value ending value

and then a graph of the same information that I can then apply a moving average overlay.

I am sure as I go on I will be expanding what I want to display, but to get started I could use some hel

Hi nrsmd,

The graph part of that is easy to obtain by selecting "Graphs / Portfolio Value". While viewing the graph window, select the desired sub-portfolio you want to plot from the top level "Portfolio" menu.

For a report like this you can create a "Custom" report with the one field "Value (ending)" added to the report. Under the date range choices, enter 6 dates, and you can enter the last 6 days. 6 dates is the most you can add to this type of report.

If you want a tabular listing of portfolio value for longer periods, you can use "File / Export / Other / Portfolio Value...". This will export the full history of any sub-portfolio you choose to a text file of the format:

Date,Value

where each line is showing the portfolio value for a given date.
Thanks,
Mark
