Portfolio gains as percentage

Hi oyz79,
You could use the "Portfolio/Investments Overlay / Price + Distribution" graph. This will plot a hypothetical portfolio price plus distribution for your selected portfolios. The price starts at 100, so you can easily see the percentage increase/decrease.
Hi Mark,
I like to use the Graphs/Investment Overlay/price distributions to view how various investments perform over different periods. Ideally you want all investments to start at 100. BUT as I change beginning dates, sometimes several of the investments start at 100.5 or 101.5 or 101. Have any fix? Dick
Hi Dick,
This is the intended operation. This graph type is inclusive of gains/losses on the starting graph date. So, for example, if you start the graph on 1/1/12, the 100 point is the morning of 1/1/12, which is the same as the close of 12/31/11. The first plotted point is at the close of 1/1/12, inclusive of changes from the close on 12/31/11 (starting point on 1/1/12) through close of 1/1/12.
Mark,
I understand - but ALL graphed investments should start at 100 when I am looking at the period, say from 1/6/12 to 2/21/12. Some start at 100.5, 100.3, 101 -- makes it difficult to compare performances without subtracting the error in the starting point. Dick
