Hello Mark,
For some reason, the Capital Gains - FIFO report is blank when I try to run it. I sold some investments in the month I am trying to run it for, but nothing is shown on the report.
What could cause this?

Hi lvs,
Some things to check: 1) The date range of your report covers when you sold the shares. 2) The investment is not marked as "tax-free" under "Investment Properties... / Other". 3) The investment is not marked as a "Cash" type investment under "Investment Properties..." and you've got the option on to exclude cash investments from the Capital Gains reports under "Options / Report Preferences... / Capital Gains".
Hello Mark,
The Capital Gains - FIFO report is now working (the investments were marked as "cash" so I changed that); however, the Distribution Summary is not working. All that is being pulled is the dividend and the return of capital info. Nothing is being shown in the Capital Gain columns. What am I doing wrong? (There were sales during the period for which I am running the report).
Hi lvs,
The Distribution Summary report shows you all the 'distribution' types. 3 of those types are the short, medium, and long term capital gain distributions. This is different than realized capital gain/losses from a sell. These are distributions of type "Long Term Capital Gain" for example. These are often paid by mutual funds.
