Red and Green Marks on my Graphs

Questions on using, creating, or understanding data in Fund Manager graphs.

Postby wizard348 » Tue Apr 10, 2012 8:26 am

On some of my stock (KO) graphs, where I buy shares, there is just a little red dot. On other stock (TCBI) graphs, where I buy shares, there is a green circle around the little red dot.

I would like the green circle with the little red dot inside for all my stocks, mutual fund and ETF buys.

What am I doing wrong ???

Thank you
Gary

Hi Gary,

The red dot is a "buy" marker, showing where you bought shares. The green circle is an "unspecified lot" marker, meaning those shares have not been specified as being sold. This indicates those shares are still available to be sold. In order for unspecified lot markers to show, your investment must be fully "specified". This means if you sold some shares, you have to go in and tell Fund Manager which shares you sold. Right mouse click on the investment, and choose "Investment Data / Specify Lots...". For all the listed redemptions on the left side, make sure you specify which purchases were sold on the right.
Thanks,
Mark
