Questions about updating prices or transactions in Fund Manager

Postby aneilljr » Tue Jul 24, 2012 2:46 pm

Hi Mark,
Have not solved the window issue we worked on a week ago but I have a new question. How do you enter a conversion from Class C shares to A shares? No cost involved.

Hi aneilljr,

If you have a different number of shares, record a split transaction with a ratio of <new shares> for <old shares>. Then, change the name/symbol properties as appropriate.

For example, if you had 150 class C shares, and you ended up with 112 class A shares, record a split with a ratio of 112 for 150.
Thanks,
Mark
