Additional User-defined Designations

Hi Mark,

is there a way to increase the number of user-defined distributions in menu <F5>
| data type | distributions (all) | ... by, say, two? I’ve already used up the
available two user-defined tags by renaming them to my needs but I’d like to
have at least two further tags without having to sacrifice standard designations.

Hi Peter,

Sorry, no, you can't add additional distribution types. As you've seen, you can change the names/purpose of any of the available distribution types (Options / Distribution Labels...), but you can't increase the number. If you want to check to see which distribution types you're using you could run a Distribution Summary report at your top sub-portfolio level for the history of your portfolios. If you don't trade bonds, you might want to use the Accretion/Amortization distribution types for some other purpose.
