How to create a default cash account

General questions about using Fund Manager that do not fit into any other forum.

Hi Mark,

Please how do i create a default cash account for a new sub-portfolio?

Hi Segunmichael,

Create a new investment for your cash. Keep the price fixed at 1. All transactions are at a price of 1, and the shares equal to the value.

Once you have the cash investment created, assign it under the "Portfolio Properties..." dialog for your sub-portfolio. To get to this dialog, use the Portfolio Editor window, and right mouse click on any sub-portfolio, and choose "Properties...".
