running FM while connected to a network

I am currently using other investment software but am having problems using the functionality while connected to my company network. If FM is loaded on the hard drive of the machine being used are you aware of any issues running the program when that machine is connected to a network? With the program I am currently using I cannot download trades from a broker website or update prices unless I disconnect my machine from our network.

Hi mcassidy,

There is no reason I can think of that this should be a problem. As long as you have an internet connection you should be able to retrieve prices and transactions no matter what network you are on. Maybe when you connect to your network you then have 2 internet connections, and the one through your network has blocks or a firewall in place preventing you from accessing the internet on that connection? You can download the trial and see if you have any troubles while on your network.
