Yes, these symbols can vary by source. On the internet retrieve page
(http://www.fundmanagersoftware.com/intrtv.html)
there are links to each of the servers used by
FM. You can go to their site with your browser and do a ticker lookup to find what symbols they use for the index you're trying to retrieve. For a reference point, the symbol for the DJIA on Yahoo is "^DJI" (without the quotes).
