: Mark -

: A couple of questions on my investment performance report.
: When I try to look at one-day performance, I notice that
: (1) the report notes using interpolated prices (even though
: the prices listed are the actual prices, and (2) the report
: indicates a gain even with no change in the price.

: For example, one fund had no change in price (82.80), but
: 1.62 is indicated in the gain column, and 2.00 in the
: % Gain-F column.

: ????

The way the starting date works in 4.0 has changed. In general, gains
are included for the starting date, so values for the starting dates are
the ending values of the day prior to the report start date. This is
the same as the value at the start of the day on the report start date.

Did your investment have any distributions in the
time period of the report, this would cause a
positive %gain-F even when the share price was flat.

Thanks,
Mark
