: · Moving averages have no meaning in a report. The predefined moving average options are actually average price figures for the specified period. Moving averages are used primarily to identify trends in time series data. There are several ways to determine a moving average and the approach used in FM is called an unweighted moving average which is inferior to an exponential moving average. Graph/Options does provide for user-adjustable moving average periods which is good; however, the units are in weeks rather than days.
