: : : I'm getting this message when I try to update prices from the internet. I think I have my configuration set up correctly for the proxy server at my site. I've got my username and password specified also. What could be the problem?

: : Here is what the documentation says for that
: : error number:

: : WSANO_DATA
: : (11004)
: : Valid name, no data record of requested type.
: : The requested name is valid and was found in the database, but it does not have the correct associated data being resolved for. The usual example for this is a hostname -> address translation attempt (using gethostbyname or WSAAsyncGetHostByName) which uses the DNS (Domain Name Server), and an MX record is returned but no A record - indicating the host itself exists, but is not directly reachable.

: : Does your proxy require a username/password?
: : Most don't. Also, you might try using the DNS
: : number instead of the proxy name.

: : Thanks,
: : Mark

: Thanks for the reply. I am using the IP address (internal only 10.10.1.7) and I have the box checked for authorization, with my user name and password. I get the same error whether I have the box checked or not. Any other suggestions?

You might try using your proxy server's name,
instead of the number. Do you have a system
admin that you could ask about whether your
proxy requires the name/password, and what it is?
